Personal Loan — Step 4: KYC & Documents (How to submit safely)

We do NOT collect Aadhaar, PAN, or other sensitive documents directly on this website. Read the secure options below and confirm you understand how documents will be provided to lenders.

Why KYC is required

All lending institutions must verify identity and income before approving a loan. Typical documents requested are PAN (or Tax ID), a government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, driving licence), address proof (utility bill, rent agreement) and income proof (salary slips, bank statements, or ITR).
These documents confirm your identity and repayment capability — both are necessary for lenders to make safe, compliant lending decisions.

How to submit documents — secure options

You have multiple secure options to share your documents. Choose whichever you are comfortable with:

  • Direct lender portal: After you submit the application, a lender may send a secure upload link or ask you to complete verification on their portal. This is the safest option because the lender handles storage and compliance.
  • DigiLocker / Government e-KYC: Use DigiLocker or an official e-KYC flow where you can grant temporary access to documents without sending files manually. Many lenders accept DigiLocker links.
  • In-person or branch submission: If you prefer, complete KYC at a branch of the lender or authorised agent.

File format & quality tips

When uploading, follow these simple rules for faster verification: use PDF, JPG, or PNG; keep each file under 2–3 MB; make sure images are clear and all edges of the document are visible; ensure the name and ID numbers are legible; and match the name on your KYC with the name on your loan application.

Privacy & safety — what we do (and do not do)

Important: This website does not collect or store Aadhaar, PAN, or any national ID documents. If you send documents to lenders, those lenders will be responsible for their storage and processing under their privacy policies.
We will only forward the non-sensitive lead data (name, phone, email, loan preference) to our partnered lenders with your consent. You will be explicitly asked for permission before any document transfer.

If you prefer not to share documents online

If you would rather avoid uploading documents online, inform the lender and ask for offline alternatives — many lenders support branch verification or agent-assisted KYC.

Disclaimer: We do not collect Aadhaar, PAN, or similar sensitive documents on this site. Your personal contact and loan-preference details may be shared with verified lenders only after you give consent. For document submission, use the secure methods described above or contact the lender directly.
